- 1 tablespoon fast rise yeast or 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/4 cups water, hot
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 cups cheese grated, monterey,mozza &cheddar mix
- 4 slices ham, black forest or honey

Place flour in a large bowl, add salt, sugar and yeast.

In second bowl measure hot water and butter, stir till butter is melted.

Add liquid to the dry ingredients and then the beaten egg. Mix till moistened.

Using hands mix dough in bowl kneading for 5 min.

Shape dough into a ball, place in greased bowl, cover with damp cloth and let rise till double, about 1 hr.

When done rising roll dough into a 10x15 rectangle. Place ham down centre of dough overlapping slightly. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup of cheese over dough.

Roll like jelly roll and cut into 1 inch slices, place cut side down into a greased pan.

Sprinkle remaining cheese on top of the buns and let rise covered until double in size.

BAKE; 375 degrees for 15-20 min.
