2-1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup Crisco
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup water


Directions:
Directions:
With a pastry blender, cut Crisco into flour, baking powder and salt. Mix lemon juice,egg yolks and water. Sprinkle over mixture. Blend it in lightly.

Divide mixture into two parts. Roll the first part to fit pie plate.

Fill pie with fruit mixture (Apples or Blueberries or other fruit pie filling) and top with remaining rolled out crust.

For a single crust pie Bake at 425º for 15 minutes or till golden brown. For a double crust pie bake at 375º for 40 minutes.

To test to see if apple pie is done - insert a toothpick into the apple.
