2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup milk
4 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Grease an 8x8 pan, tray or plate.
Combine sugar and cocoa in medium pot. Add milk slowly as you heat. Bring to boil and reduce heat, stirring occasionally for at least 15 min. until chocolate forms a soft ball in cold water. Then remove from heat and add butter and vanilla (and nuts) and beat with wooden spoon until the fudge loses it sheen. This will take a while. Pour into dish and let cool. Cut into squares and ENJOY!
