2 qt. milk
2 c. flour
1 egg
salt and pepper to taste

Yield: About 8 servings
Put milk to boil; take about 2 c. of flour and break into it 1 egg. Mix with hand and rub into rivels. Stir in boiling milk and let boil a few minutes. You can use less flour or any amount and depends on if you like tiny rivels or large and if you like soup thick or thin-you can fix to suit your own taste. Season as desired.
