1 baked pie shell
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
2 cups milk
3 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. butter
! tsp. vanilla flavoring
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and flour in heavy saucepan. Blend egg yolks and milk together and stir into sugar, heating until low boil. Add butter and stir constantly until thick (about 8 min.) remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue.
To make meringue, beat egg whites at high speed and slowly add 3 Tblsp. sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
