1c margarine
1c packed brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1/2c white sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4c white flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 c smarties

Directions:
Directions:
Beat sugars and margarine together, add vanilla and eggs, slowly add in flour, salt and baking soda on low. Stir in Smarties (reserve 1/2 to place on top of each cookie).
Roll into balls, (purple handled scoop if you have one)
Bake at 375º for 10 minutes

Carol got this recipe when the girls were in preschool at Maplewood Farm. it was a fast favorite of all the cousins and a treat in lunchboxes!
