2 cans (1 lb. 2 oz. each) sweet potatoes, drained (or 6 sweet potatoes baked at 400 for one hour)
6 tbsp. butter
1 cup of milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
pat of butter and sliver of orange on each cup
8 navel oranges

Mash potatoes till smooth. Heat butter in milk until butter is melted. Add to potatoes and beat well. Add egg, sugar, salt/pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Beat until well blended. Pour into orange cups.* Put pat of butter and sliver of orange on each. Broil for 5 minutes or until potatoes are browned and heated.

For orange cups, slice navel oranges in half. With knife, scoop our from skin. Flute edges. Orange halves will have some pulp and juices which will flavor filling.
