2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
3 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup blackberry jam
Icing:
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 Tblsp. flour
1 cup raisins
1 cup nuts
1 can coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix dry ingredients together. Mix soda in buttermilk. Beat buttermilk and flour into egg mixture, alternating. Add vanilla and mix well. Pour into 2 greased and floured round cake pans and bake at 350 for 30 min. Cool and remove from pans. When completely cooled, spread Jam on one layer and stack.
Icing: In saucepan, mix eggs sugar flour and milk. Cook, stirring constantly until thick. Cool until just warm. Stir in nuts, coconut and raisins. Spread on cooled cake.
