1/2 gallon figs
6 cups sugar
Lemon slices

Directions:
Directions:
Wash figs, place in large pan, cover with sugar and let sit overnight in refrigerator. Bring to a low boil, stirring occasionally until figs have cooked down to brown syrupy preserves. Can in hot jars with a lemon slice and seal.
