1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/3 c. Minced onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. Milk
2/3 c. Saltine cracker crumbs
1 egg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 T. Shortening

Sauce:
2 T. Cornstarch
1 c. Pineapple tidbits
1/3 c. Cider vinegar
1/3 c. Chopped green pepper
1/2 c. Brown sugar
1 T. Soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except the shortening. Shape into balls. Melt shortening, brown and cook meatballs. Remove from pan and keep warm while making sauce.

Mix cornstarch and brown sugar. Stir in pineapple syrup, vinegar and
Soy sauce. Stir until smooth. Pour into pan and cook over medium heat until thick and it begins to boil. Boil one minute. Add meatballs, pineapple and green pepper and heat through.
