1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup margarine
2 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 well beaten eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly cream shortening, margarine and sugar. Add eggs, beat well. Sift dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture. Add nuts. Drop 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350º oven for 12 minutes.
