1 cup limoncello liqueur
1 cup gin or Grey Goose Citron vodka
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup simple syrup
Fine sugar, such as caster, for rimming glasses
6 lemon twists

Directions:
Put 6 martini glasses in the freezer to chill for at least 15 minutes. Remove the glasses and rim the edges with the caster sugar.

Using a vegetable peeler, remove a strip of lemon peel about 1 inch wide and 2 inches long; create six identical strips. Just before serving, fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice. Pour half of the: limoncello, gin (or vodka), lemon juice, and simple syrup, over the ice. Cover with the lid and shake vigorously for about 10 seconds. Strain into 3 of the chilled glasses, dividing evenly. Repeat to make 3 more drinks. Garnish each glass with a lemon twist. Serve immediately. Serves 6.
