2 lbs. icing sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. shortening
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 cup milk powder
1/3 to 1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix milk powder and water in a cup or small bowl.
Cream shortening in a medium sized bowl. Add salt, a little icing sugar, vanilla, and almond flavouring. Beat with mixer. Then alternately add liquid and icing sugar. Beat well between each addition. You must beat this icing a lot so it does not taste greasy.

Must be made with an electric mixer and beaten well so it does not taste greasy. Can be frozen and then re-beaten when thawed so it will be fluffy. Works well to colour as it is white.
