4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 C butter
1/2 C sugar
2 T grated lemon peel
2 t fresh lemon juice
1 C flour
2 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
Approx 3/4 C crushed frosted flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Blend cream cheese with butter and sugar. Add lemon peel and lemon juice. Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture, beating until smooth. Chill dough 1 hour. Shape dough into small balls and roll in crushed frosted corn flakes.

Place balls 1 1/2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes in a preheated 350º oven. Cookies should be a delicate light color.

One of Mom's favorite cookies to make at the holiday. Soft, delicate and a perfect little crunch, thanks to the frosted flakes. Totally yummy for ANY time of year!!
