2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
3 Tbs. light corn syrup
1/2 c. butter
1 c. pecans, roughly chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except nuts and cook to soft ball stage. Remove from heat and beat until creamy; add nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. So Good!

Cook this mixture in a deep saucepan or boiler so it won’t boil over. Approximate cooking time is 30 minutes. Do not undercook.
