1/2 head of cabbage
3-4 green onions chopped
2 tbsp. sesame seeds toasted (spread in pan in 300 degree oven for 10 minutes)
1/2 c. slivered almonds (on cooking aisle in store on rack) toasted – cook same as sesame seeds
1 pkg. of ramen noodles – break up small (buy chicken flavor)

DRESSING
2 tbsp. of sugar
1/2 c. of corn oil
1 tsp. of salt
3 tbsp. of tarragon vinegar
1/2 tsp. of pepper
1/2 pkg. of chicken flavoring from the ramen soup

Mix well 10-15 minutes before serving.

I am a big proponent of do-ahead stuff so I mix the cabbage and scallions and cover in fridge. I prepare the almonds, sesame seeds and ramen noodles and put in a baggie. I make the dressing and set on the counter—the oil will coagulate in the fridge. Then 15 minutes before dinner I put it together.
