3c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c Golden Crisco
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. lemon rind
100 g ground almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar-add eggs one at a time. Alternately add milk and dry ingredients. Spread batter in greased bundt pan. Bake 1 hr. at 350 degrees.

Glaze
1/2 cup sugar
juice from one lemon
Heat sugar and lemon juice. Brush over warm cake. Let stand overnight.
