2 C sugar
5 T corn starch
2 C half and half
1 C Carnation evaporated milk
1 t. vanilla
pinch of salt
2 T butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly all ingredients. Cook until smooth and thick stirring constantly. (will burn on bottom of pan quickly)
Pour into 2 - 9" unbaked pie shells
Sprinkle with nutmeg
Bake at 325º for about 1 hour or until firm.
Cool before serving.
