10 medium cucumbers

6 cups sugar
2 Tbsp mixed pickling spice
5 Tbsp salt
4 cups vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Cover cucumbers with boiling water, drain and repeat for 5 days. On the 5th day slice cucumbers into 1/4 inch slices. Boil sugar, pickling spices salt and vinegar; then pour over sliced cucumbers and let set for 2 days. On the third day heat all to a boil and put into jars and seal. Makes 4-5 pint jars.
