1 egg
1 pound malanga, peeled and grated
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp Adobo seasoning
1 scallion, chopped
2 tsp parsley
1 cup oil
1 tsp onion powder
1 shallot, minced
1 tsp garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and grate malanga and then mash it with a fork.
Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
Using a deep fryer or skillet, heat the oil until it is very hot over medium high heat.
Pour a spoonful of batter at a time. Flip once to brown and then drain on paper towels.
