Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 cups of unrefined white or yellow shea butter

1/4 cup of organic aloe vera gel

2 tablespoons of organic coconut oil and/or organic olive oil, depending on your preference

Directions:
Directions:
Begin by scooping room temperature shea butter in a bowl. Whip shea butter on low speed until fluffy in consistency. Once it is soft, add the aloe vera gel and coconut oil. Mix again with hand mixer on low speed. Spoon the mixture into a container with a lid. Store the Shealoe in a cool, dry place.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
There are many recipes for Shealoe available online, but this is probably the most simple with only three ingredients. Shea Butter alone is a great, all-natural moisturizer. Combined with aloe vera gel it is softer and easier to work with. It can serve as a creamy moisturizer, a styling product, or an after shower body cream. Feel free to improvise and add your own favorite essential oils. You can use a hand-held mixer and glass bowl (i.e., for easier clean up). For larger quantities, use a stand mixer. It can be used from head to toe, literally!
