4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup raisins
1 egg beaten
almost 1 cup of milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Cut in butter. Add raisins, egg and then the milk in 3 lots. Press out onto a flat surface. Cut about 1 inch thick. Arrange on ungreased baking sheet, sides not touching. Bake 15 minutes at 450 degrees.
