8 oz cream cheese
1 stick butter/margarine
1 pound confectioners suger(powdered)
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Whip until light: cream cheese and butter
Add powdered sugar and vanilla and continue to whip until smooth.
Icing cake.

Personal Notes:
I would make this Italian Cream Cake for Thanksgiving as the "adult"
cake, since none of the kids wanted coconut in their cake. I remember
Angela Commander loving it as much as I did.
