3/4 cup oil
3/4 cup flour
1 large can tomato sauce
1 can rotel tomato
2 large onions
4 cups+ of water
3 bay leaves
2 tbsp. Old Bay seasoning
2 tsp liquid shrimp boil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 pounds shrimp
14 crabs

Directions:
Directions:
Chop onions and brown in oil until light brown and add flour, stir until flour turns golden brown. Add tomato sauce and rotel tomatoes and 3 cups of the water, bay leaves and rest of seasonings. Simmer for approx. 15 minutes. Add additional water, if needed. Add crabs and cook for approx. 3 minutes then add shrimp - cook for another 3 minutes. When the shrimp turns pink and begins to curl up - its done.
Serve over white rice.

This recipe was written down while preparing it - so all of the measurements were exact. After you make a time or two you can adjust the heat with the shrimp boil. More for hotter - less for milder. Also - this tastes the best when the shrimp comes from Pensacola waters and the crabs from Granddaddy's traps..
