1 lb stew beef
1 (16-oz) can whole kernel corn
2 (16-oz) cans or 1 extra large can diced tomatoes
1 lb carrots peeled and cut into small pieces
5 medium potatoes peeled and cut into small pieces
1 medium size onion, chopped
1 qt. Grandaddy's "fresh or frozen green beans" (canned beans aren't the same)
water as needed
Salt and pepper

Cut stew beef into small bite size pieces. Stir fry beef and onions in large soup pot over high heat. Add canned tomatoes, corn (including liquid) and all other vegetables. Add enough water to cover tops of vegetables. Add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to boil. Cover pot. Reduce heat and continue to cook on a low temperature for about and hour and a half.
