1 lb lean ground stew beef cut into bite size pieces
1 can tomato soup undiluted
1 cup of beef broth or water
2 medium onions cut into wedges
1 cup of sliced carrots
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp salt
Pinch of black pepper
3/4 cup of frozen peas

Directions:
Directions:
Place beef, tomato soup, broth, onions, carrots, bay leaf, salt and pepper in a medium casserole dish and stir well. Cover and bake for about 4 hours at 350 degrees or until meat is tender. Stir once or twice while it's cooking. Add peas 20 minutes before stew is ready. NOTE: This can also be made in a crock pot or slow cooker. If that method is preferred reduce broth to 1/2 c.
