1/2 C softened butter
1/2 C sugar
3/4 C light corn syrup
1/4 C maple syrup
3 eggs beaten
2 T rum
3/4 C chopped pecans

Brandied Butter Pastry

1C all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
6 T cold butter
2-3 T cold brandy

Brandied Buttered Pastry

Combine flour and salt. Cut in butter until mixture until it resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle brandy over mixture and stir until the dough holds together. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill a minimum of 10 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350

Rum Pecan Pie

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add corn syrup, male syrup, eggs and rum. Beat well and stir in pecans. Fill the pie shell Bake until pie is set and crust is golden brown.
