Batter:
Separate 3 eggs
Beat whites until stiff
Add 1 c. sugar and 1 c. powdered sugar
Beat egg yolks until lemon colored
Fold in whites

Directions:
Directions:
Boil desired amount of water with 1 stick cinnamon and 5 cloves. Steep 5 min.
Place in mug: 1 shot each brandy and rum. Add boiling water until half full.
Fill with batter and top with nutmeg.
Batter will keep 2 days in the refrigerator.

Note: If you triple the recipe, cut down on sugar to 2 c. and 1 c. powdered sugar.

Let me know if you try this. I cut it out of newspaper and never made it. I don't think I would like it and never drink hard liquor. So why in the cookbook you ask? Well dear friend, maybe you will love it!
