4 cups fresh figs
3 cups sugar
2 boxes strawberry Jello

Directions:
Directions:
Add 1/2 cup baking soda to a pan of tap water and wash figs well. Rinse and dry and cut into 1/2 or 1/4.
Mix all ingredients and let sit for 1 hour or refrigerate overnight.
Boil slowly for about 30 - 45 minutes.
Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
