Ingredients:
2 C unsifted flour
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 C buttermilk
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 C butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, soda, and 1/4 tsp salt. Using a pastry blender cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Add buttermilk and stir with fork until well combined. Knead into a ball. Heat oven to 350º
On a lightly floured board or parchment paper, roll out dough to 1/8 in thick or thinner. With floured 3-inch round cookie cutter, cut into crackers. Arrange crackers on several lightly greased baking sheets. Prick tops several times with fork tines. Sprinkle tops with remaining salt. Bake until lightly browned on edges, about 15-20 minutes. Cool crackers completely on wire racks. Store tightly covered. Makes 20 3-inch crackers.

I cut them into 1x1 1/2 inch rectangles
