¼ pound butter
¾ cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs
Pinch salt
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
¼ cup milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs and baking powder. Add sifted flour, salt and cream of tartar. Dissolve baking soda in milk and add. Mix together. Mixture must be light and fluffy. Makes small cakes. Bake at 350° about 15 to 20 minutes until done.
