Ingredients:  
1-1/2 lb lean stew meat
Large onion sliced
1 clove garlic minced
4 TB olive oil
3 TB wine vinegar
1/2 c tomato sauce
1 c red wine
1 bay leaf
1 t oregano
7 oz can green salsa
Salt and pepper

Combine everything in pot an bring to boil and then simmer 3 hours. Serve over beer rice

2 TB olive oil, 1 cup raw rice, 1 can condensed onion soup, 1 soup can of beer. Heat oil in pot, add rice and brown slightly stirring. Add soup and beer. Cover tightly and simmer 20-25 min. Until liquid is absorbed.
I have this written on a piece of paper I got somewhere 20 years ago. My kids love it and I would make it camping a lot.

Beer Rice is EASY!
1 cup Rice,1 Can Beer, 1 can of Campbell French Onion Soup, Cook like you cook Rice
