1 1/2 cups sugar or 3 cups powdered sugar
5 tbsp. water
dash of salt
2 egg whites
2 tbsp. Karo syrup or 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients in top of double boiler. Place over hot water, which is just before boiling. Beat continuously and vigorously with electric mixer on high speed for seven minutes. Remove from heat and continue beating until spreading consistency.
