2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 - 8 oz. sour cream
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract (or lemon extract or almond extract, or any other flavoring that you like; sometimes I use raspberry!)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour Bundt pan or two loaf pans. (I use Baker’s Joy® spray.) Using your hand mixer, cream together butter and sugar. Add in eggs one at a time, mix well. Add in salt and baking soda. Mix in flour and sour cream, alternately 1/3 at a time. Add in flavoring of your choice. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
