2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
2 1/4 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven at 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 in. pan. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. Melt shortening and add brown sugar; mix well. Cool slightly. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each egg. Add dry ingredients; mix well. Add the chips and nuts. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake 30 minutes; do not over bake. Cut into squares. Very good rich brownie.
