CAKE:
1 box yellow or pineapple cake mix
1 can (11 oz.) Mandarin oranges (don't drain) (cut each orange slice into 3 pieces)
4 eggs
3/4 c. oil
ICING:
1 small box (3.4 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
1 large container (16 oz.) Cool Whip®
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained, but save the juice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. CAKE: Line 3 round cake pans with wax paper, grease and sprinkle flour over the wax paper. Combine the cake mix, oranges with juice, eggs one at a time while beating, and oil. Pour into the prepared cake pans and bake for 30 minutes. Poke holes in the individual cake layers and pour the pineapple juice over each layer.
ICING: Mix the dry pudding with the Cool Whip and then add the crushed pineapple; blend gently. Frost the cake layers. Cake layers can be cooled in the refrigerator.
