Jello:
1 pkg plus 1/4 tsp. Knox unflavored gelatin
3/4 cup sugar
1-1/2 cups water
1 container (16 oz.) sour cream
1 container (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
1-1/2 tsp almond extract

Sauce:
1 pkg (10 oz.) thawed frozen red raspberries in syrup
1/4 cup red currant jelly or red raspberry jam
1 tbsp cornstarch

Jello:
Stirring constantly, bring the first 3 ingredients to a boil and cool. Fold in the sour cream, Cool Whip and almond extract with wire whisk. Pour into a lightly greased mold and chill overnight for best results. A Tupperware mold works best. Serve with raspberry sauce.

Sauce:
In a small saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients. Cook and stir until thickened and clear. Cool and then chill. Makes about 1-1/2 cups.
