Broccoli florets and stem pieces, fresh; about 1 head
Cauliflower pieces, about 1/4 head
Minced garlic, 2-3 cloves
Olive oil, about 2 Tbsp.

Optional:
Sesame oil, about 1-2 Tbsp.
Sesame seeds
Red pepper flakes
(Amounts are variable on all ingredients)

Preheat oven to 375º F. Rinse and dry vegetables. Mix broccoli, cauliflower, and garlic. Drizzle with olive oil and also with sesame oil, if desired (gives it a more Asian flavor).

Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Spread vegetables on the foil in a single layer and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake on the top rack for 25-30 minutes or until slightly blackened and crunchy.

Serve hot with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes, if desired.
