1 Kg brown sugar
1 1/3 cups whole milk
2-4 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch salt

1. Combine sugar and milk and bring to a soft boil.
2. Cool sugar and milk to soft ball stage. Cool until you can almost hold your hand in the bottom of pot.
3. Add butter, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Beat until begins to thicken. Pour quickly
Into 9x9 pan.
4. As soon as set, score marks for pieces to make easier for breaking later. If little over cooked, peanut butter added when beating helps make manageable.
