Banana-Coconut Loaf

2 eggs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon almond flavouring
1/2 cup medium coconut
1 cup granulated sugar
3 medium mashed rips bananas
1-1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries

1. Preheat oven to 350ºF
2. Mix all ingredients together well for a smooth batter.
3. Place in greased 9x5x3 loaf pan and bake for1 hour or until done.
