3 lb. fresh asparagus
1 lb. penne rigati
Extra virgin olive oil
6 anchovy filets
Pepper to taste

Directions:
Boil water in large pot. Cut asparagus diagonally into ¾ inch pieces. Add pasta and asparagus to the boiling water. Cook until al dente. Meanwhile, in frying pan, heat oil. Add anchovies, mashing them into the oil. Drain pasta & asparagus, transfer them to the frying pan and stir while heating.

Add salt and pepper to taste.
