Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 bag cabbage shredded
1 package RAMEN noodles (crush noodles while still in package into small pieces-discard soup-only use noodles)
1 package slivered almonds
olive oil spray
1 container of sesame seeds
2 scallions-optional
3/4 cup oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 rice wine vinegar
pepper and salt

Directions:
Directions:
Spray cookie sheet with olive oil spray, then brown almonds and sesame seeds for 5 mins each side in the oven. (Be careful they don't burn—they almost always burn on first try so watch carefully!). Put bag of cabbage in bowl. If using scallions, cut up scallions in pieces and add to bowl. (I almost never use scallions.)When ready to serve cabbage add broken up Ramen noodles, seeds, and almonds together and mix.

Just before serving add: (this is biggest trick—don’t dress til literally the minute you are serving it—but mix these ingredients in advance so they are ready for you—I usually put them in a dressing jar)

3/4 cup oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
pepper and salt to taste

You can experiment with how much dressing to put on, sometimes the whole amount is not necessary. Enjoy!!!

Jessica and John: Hope you love making and especially eating this. You can leave out the nuts when Lindsay comes over! You can also substitute hard Chinese noodles if you don't have Ramen noodles. We love you a lot, Cousins Sheri, Michael and Sammi
