4 Cups rhubarb
1 Cup sugar

Wash and cut rhubarb into 1 inch pieces. Mix with sugar in heavy saucepan. Cook for 10 minutes on low-medium heat. Chill before serving.

I absolutely love rhubarb sauce. I was allergic to it when a very young child, but would sneak and eat it anyway. Thank goodness I finally grew out of the allergy. I have rhubarb in my garden and love to make it in the summertime. It is also good made into a pie.
