2/3 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 2/3 cup milk
2 1/3 cup flour
1 cup cornmeal
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

To pour on top after baked:
3 T. butter, melted
2 T. honey

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together in large bowl. In separate bowl, combine eggs and milk. In a third bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt. Add to butter mixture, alternating between egg mix and flour mix, until all ingredients are combined and smooth.

Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 400º 22-27 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.

Mix 3 T. melted butter with 2 T. honey. Pour over top of cornbread when it comes out of oven.
