1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 tbsp. sour milk
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 bananas
1/4 cup walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, eggs, milk and soda Add flour, the bananas, then walnuts. Bake at 350º F for 40 minutes. Toothpick should come out clean.
I have never tasted a better banana bread, (Lynne).
