2 c. sugar
1 – 3/4 c. all purpose flour
3/4 c. Hershey’s cocoa
1-1/2 t baking powder
1-1/2 t. baking soda
1 t salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
˝ c. vegetable oil
2 t. vanilla
1 c. boiling water

Frosting:
1 stick of butter
2/3 c. Hershey’s cocoa
3 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350.
2. combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.
3. beat for 2 minutes on medium speed.
4. stir in boiling water.
5. pour mixture into two 9” round greased and floured pans.
6. bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes
7. cool completely and frost.

Frosting:
1. melt butter
2. stir in cocoa.
3. alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating on medium speed to spreading consistency.
4. add more milk if needed. Add vanilla.
5 spread over cake or cupcakes.
