4 cups sugar
1 cup white Karo syrup
¾ cup water
¼ teaspoon salt
3 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
Chopped nuts if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, salt, syrup, water in a 2 qt. microwave safe disk. Stir well.
Put in microwave on high for 19 min, stirring every 5 minutes.
After 19 min., take out, stir and let set.
Beat 3 egg whites until stiff. Pour mixture over egg whites slowly beating for 12 min.; turn the bowl as you beat. Put vanilla into the mixture as you beat. Add nuts if desired. Spoon up.
