Mix and set aside to cool:
1-cup persimmon pulp
1- teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup boiling water
(Cream Together)
1-cup sugar
1/2 cup peanut oil
two eggs
1 3/4 cup sifted flour
3/4 cup walnuts
8 ounces pack chocolate bits

Directions:
Directions:
Mix and set aside to cool, 1-cup persimmon pulp
1- teaspoon baking soda ,3/4 cup boiling water
(Cream Together):1-cup sugar, 1/2 cup peanut oil ,two egg.
Add 1 3/4 cup sifted flour. add first persimmon mixture and 3/4 cup walnuts.
Pour into oblong pan and top with one 8 ounces pack chocolate bits. Bake
one hour in moderate oven. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.
350º for 30-45 minutes
