1. Prepared refrigerated pie crust.
2. 1 c. sugar
3. 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
4. 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
5. 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
6. 1/4 tsp. salt
7. 12 c. thinly sliced, peeled cooking apples (4 lbs)
8. 3 tbsp. butter or margarine

1. Spray pie plate with cooking spray.
2. Unroll prepared pastry in pie plate. Set aside.
3. Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, allspice and salt in a bowl.
4. Peel apples and cut in thin slices.
5. Cover apple slices in sugar mixture individually then place in pie crust.
6. Sprinkle 2 tbsps. dabs of margarine over apples.
7. Cover apples with second pie crust and fold edges to keep liquid from leaking out of pie plate.
8. Cut circle in the middle of pie crust and 5 slits around the sides.
9. Brush margarine on top of crust and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
10. Cover sides with foil for first 25 of 45 minutes to prevent edges from burning.
11. Bake at 375º for 45 minutes.
