1 pkg Rice a Roni – I usually use the Rice Pilaf flavor but Herb n Butter is also good and some others would be fine too

1 ½ cps frozen veggies of your choice – I like ½ cp each peas, sliced carrots & pearl onions

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare the Rice a Roni as directed on the box. Put the veggies in a colander and run warm water over top to start to thaw them. Let them sit and drain while the rice cooks. When there is 10 min of simmering left add the veggies to the rice and let it finish up.

This is a recipe that I made a LOT when I was first learning to cook. Making rice from scratch and adding seasoning was just way beyond me. Sometimes I added fresh veggies but frozen is much easier and still a healthy choice.
